Description

The innagural release of our First Fall Pinot Noir is a celebration of our singular site, sourced from the original Block 1 vines, planted in 1974. Handpicked in the early morning, to preserve acidity and freshness, the grapes were destemmed and fermented in small open top vessels, with daily gentle pumpovers. post ferment the wines were pressed to a combination of new oak (35% Francois Freres & Taransaud barriques) and neutral barriques, with 10 months of elevage prior to bottling. The wines were allowed a further period of 10 months bottle maturation prior to release, allowing the wine to show its best.
